The shades had to be assembled. It wasn’t real difficult, but a challenge to make it look taut and contiguous. We love the “touch” feature among the three light levels. We were looking for an antique brass finish to match our BR hardware handles, but the brushed nickel offered a nice second choice. The metal bases are strong and sturdy enough to not get knocked over.
